Das Grundlagenseminar bietet Neulingen einen groben Überblick über
Schwierigkeiten und Probleme, mit denen bei einem Kriseneinsatz zu
rechnen ist. Hier wird versucht, interkulturelles Verständnis und
allgemeine Verhaltensregeln innerhalb eines Teams zu vermitteln. Es
werden Hintergründe und Ziele von humanitären Einsätzen besprochen
und der politische Rahmen verdeutlicht. Die Gefahren von Landminen
werden theoretisch dargelegt und in einer praktischen Einheit erlebt.
Dazu gibt es wertvolle Tipps zu Reisevorbereitung und Ausrüstung.
