Über Simbabwe berichtet "Die Tagesschau": "Die Supermärkte sind leer, die Menschen hungern. Die Inflationsrate Simbabwes ist die höchste der Welt. Hilfsorganisationen fürchten den völligen Kollaps. Westliche Journalisten dürfen aus dem autoritär regierten Land nicht berichten. "

Aber auch unter Christen kam es in letzter Zeit vermehrt zu Gewaltausschreitungen, Verhaftungen und staatlichen Beschlagnahmungen.

Gebetsanliegen:

- dass die Christen weiterhin den Mut haben, intensiv im Gebet für ihr Land einzustehen und dass sie sich unbehelligt versammeln dürfen.
- dass die kommenden Wahlen dem Land eine neue gute Wendung
geben.
